Last night I was fortunate to attend my second Goldman Awards ceremony at the San Francisco Opera House. Enough cannot be said of this event, so well done, its 7 recipients so impeccably chosen from each continent of the world.
There I was, in khakis and a jean jacked who ducked out of the office early enough to meet my mom at the Opera House on Van Ness. The lights dim, and Robert Redford's voice introduces the everyday heros.

and the right people,
When Kate Kelly, the program emcee, asked us before the end of the evening: "I hope that you leave here inspired" I laughed. I was beyond inspired.
